A Guide To A CHA-11 Single Setting (Preset) “A” Size Torque Wrench

A guide to using the Utica CHA-11 Single Setting (Preset) “A” Size Torque Wrench:

Determine the torque value needed for your application. This information can typically be found in the manufacturer’s specifications or by consulting a torque chart.

Select the appropriate “A” size wrench based on the torque value needed. The Utica CHA-11 Single Setting (Preset) Wrench is designed for a specific torque range and cannot be adjusted.

Align the torque value on the wrench’s scale with the indicator line. The scale is located on the handle of the wrench and shows the torque range for the specific wrench size.

Insert the wrench onto the fastener you want to tighten, making sure it is properly seated.

Apply force to the wrench in the direction needed to tighten the fastener. The wrench will “click” or release when the preset torque value is reached.

Stop applying force to the wrench and remove it from the fastener.

Verify that the fastener is properly tightened by using a torque wrench tester or a torque measuring device.

Store the wrench in a safe and dry location to prevent damage and ensure its accuracy for future use.

It’s important to note that the Utica CHA-11 Single Setting (Preset) Wrench is designed for one specific torque range and cannot be adjusted. If you need to work with a different torque range, you will need to use a different size wrench or an adjustable torque wrench.
