Apex Hi-Torque Bits can be used for driving screws and fasteners with power tools, hand tools and pneumatic tools.

The Apex Hi-Torque® Bit recess was designed to provide very high installation and removal torques. Apex Hi-Torque Bits are also designed with a  very shallow recess for use on 120° and 130° flush fasteners in thin skins. These bits are used to reduce the need for end-load of the driver.

Apex Fastener Tools has developed special alloys that offer attributes suited to the specific demands of the aerospace and automotive repair sector. bits of equal hardness from different brands will yield different results.
